Before I explain what your volunteering will involve, I'd like to thank all those who participated in our raffle. You'll soon have lots more news and updates so you can participate again and see if you're lucky. So, stay tuned, don't give up because we're sure you'll love it.
Our winners are Anna Gracia Esteve and Agnès Sagarra Puig.
Once we announced the winners, we got in touch with them and they came to the office straight away. We gave both of them their gift voucher and then we started filling out all the necessary documents to be able to begin the experience. They were very happy, full of excitement and thanked us for winning this prize draw.
They are going to Nepal at the end of July for two weeks, and are very excited to start this adventure with Travel Work. For those of you who are interested in their volunteering, you will be able to see their day-to-day on their Instagram and also on ours, as we will be posting news about them both.
Your programme for volunteering in Nepal consists of: two weeks helping children in schools, either teaching English or running different activities, teaching English to Buddhist monks, or helping in orphanages and childcare centres.
They will work 5 days a week and will have a coordinator throughout their stay at the destination in case they have any problems. Furthermore, we will also be in contact with them from Barcelona.
