Jorge Bressel tells us Travel Work her experience in China. Her daily life, her experiences, her first steps in a new city…
Hello Eva,
Well, the truth is that it's all very well. I'm still getting used to the city and the food, which has been a big change for me, since I didn't eat Asian food. The first moment was a little strange since the hotel was in a very Chinese neighborhood and of course, there were markets on the street, people went wherever they wanted, there were some rather strong smells, restaurants that scared you at first sight... But the next day it was perfect, and the hotel itself was quite good. I also contacted a Spanish guy from the studio who helped me get around the area.
On Monday I had to go to the NE.International office because on Friday they couldn't explain things to me due to a problem of theirs, but everything is going well. On arrival, a girl came to pick me up at the airport and brought me to the hotel, as well as giving me a map and helping me buy a mobile phone, because it's hard to understand. Now I'm in the apartment, where they gave me a page to search, and it's even better now that I have everything in its place.
As for the studio, it's impressive, it's huge and the atmosphere is great. Also, as I've already told you, there's a Spaniard on the same floor as me, he has 3, so he helps me a lot. The boss is a very nice person, as well as being critical, which helps you to always think about what you think, and he asks you questions all the time, he wants you to intervene, your opinions always matter and add up. As for my colleagues, I'm still learning their names because there are so many, they're very nice, and they've even invited me to play a game and everything. The projects are huge, and I also get to do the nice part, the design, so it couldn't be better.
In short, I can say that I am doing very well, happy with the experience, and hopefully it will continue to be the same or better.
I hope everything is going well there.
Keep in touch
All the best
Jorge Bressel
