My stay in Torquay has been a great experience. Since I arrived in July I have visited many places and have been able to meet people from other countries, especially Italians, Germans and some Spaniards. At first it was non-stop and practically the same all summer. From September onwards I started to slow down my outings but always with things to do and people to meet up with.

Every week we have meetings, on Tuesday we all meet up for a drink and to meet the new people who arrive every week and on Thursday we do an activity, which changes every week (from going to the zoo to going to the cinema or bowling, among others). In this way, it was another way to improve my English.

In the four months I have been here, my level has improved, but I still need to improve it further. I am very relaxed at home, in my case I live in a two-storey house. The students are on the ground floor and the family is on the first floor, so you have more freedom, but this is not the same in all cases. Also at work, I am in an architecture office. The work I am doing is interesting and little by little you get involved in the different projects in which you participate. I would like to highlight that I was able to go to a meeting in Cornwall for 4 days and a construction exhibition in Exeter, which were very interesting.
