Hi!
So far, everything is going well in London. As you said, it's a totally different philosophy of life from Spain and also from Torquay, but I've adapted quite well.
I feel comfortable in the residence, the people I have met are friendly and there are always plans to visit different parts of London. In addition, everyone is from different countries, French, Italian, Russian, etc., and very few Spaniards, which is positive because we always speak English.
Regarding work, I feel comfortable, there are six lawyers in total, each one dealing with a different law. They are pleasant and attentive to me. This first week I have been in the office reading different civil, criminal, etc. cases, and I have also filed a few lawsuits. They have been explaining to me how the law works here in relation to some of the cases they are currently dealing with.
I also went to the post office, and helped one of the lawyers who deals with “Immigration law”, a very interesting branch of law that is very common here. And they told me that from now on, when one of the lawyers had trials, I would go with them to the Crown and County Court, to learn the judicial procedures that they use in England, which I find very interesting.
Thanks for asking. We'll keep in touch.
