Hello Eva!
This is great!! It's not a resort but I love it!! The town is great, it has everything and most importantly, I have a job to pay the bills!!! The job is good, I do more or less everything in the bar at the ski slope and the best thing is that I have great hours!! I work Monday to Friday from 10 in the morning until 6:30 in the evening!!
The most important thing is that I already have a house. The four of us rented a very large house with five bedrooms and it is furnished!! That is hard to find in Calgary! Almost all the options we looked at were not furnished and that is a problem if you are only going to be in a city for 6 months.
The city is welcoming and the people are very nice. I was expecting something different, but the people are really nice. The temperature is the main problem. In November it dropped to -30ºC for two days and the park was closed!! Unbelievable!!
In January I'm starting English classes in Calgary. It's very cheap at the public bookstore, it only costs $45 and they are advanced classes!! It's great!!
I'm planning to go to Ontario to a resort in the summer to see the east coast. Just thinking about it. If I don't, I might travel around Canada and the US. Just dreams for now.
